Little Scholars Montessori is category 3 private school, licensed with the Tennessee Department of Education.  Additionally, Little Scholars Montessori is proudly accredited by SACS, an accrediting division of AdvancED.  Our accreditation demonstrates our dedication to continuous improvement in all that we do. We are committed to creating an environment where students become intellects in pursuit of independent thinking.

Student collaboration, self-reflection, and development of critical thinking skills are utilized in the classroom by virtue of the Montessori method.  The Little Scholars’ environment creates an atmosphere that fosters long-standing relationships by using mixed age classrooms and looping instruction. Teachers form deep relationships with the students, allowing educators to adapt to individual learning styles, needs, and interests of each student and thus supporting the Little Scholars’ statement of purpose. This philosophy of valuing the whole child is collective among parents, staff, and administration.
